Low Income Taxpayer Clinic Contact: (303) 871-6331 Description: The University of Denver Graduate Tax Program Low Income Taxpayer Clinic represents taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service in audit, appeals, and collection issues, and federal tax litigation. Representation is free or for a nominal charge. Students who are studying for their Master's in Taxation perform services for clients under the supervision of the Director of the Graduate Tax Program and a supervising attorney, a former Chief Counsel trial attorney. The clinic receives partial funding from the government and relies on contributions to enable it to perform all of its services.
