Dec. 17, 2025 (DENVER) – Colorado Legal Services is moving its Denver office location a few short blocks away to Civic Center Plaza, 1560 Broadway, Suite 1100 (the 11th floor). The Denver office will be closed from Dec. 19 through Jan. 2 during the move. It will reopen on Jan. 5.

CLS is Colorado’s statewide nonprofit legal aid program providing civil legal assistance—which does not include criminal or traffic matters—to low-income individuals and older Coloradans throughout the state. Its 12 offices provide free legal assistance in a broad variety of legal areas, including eviction defense, consumer protection, services to survivors of serious crime, representation for domestic violence survivors, and many others. The Denver office serves people from Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Elbert, Gilpin and Jefferson counties, and statewide units headquartered in Denver serve people from around the state.

CLS’s Denver office has been at its current location on Sherman Street since 1988. CLS served thousands of clients in this space, but the new location will be more easily accessible, including via bus as it is next to Civic Center Station.

In addition to the physical office closure, the Denver phone line and the statewide online application will also be closed from Dec. 19 through Jan. 4. Folks who live outside the Denver metro area can continue to call or visit their local office, except for Dec. 24 and 25, and Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, when all offices will be closed for the holidays. You can find the office closest to you on our website.

Partners can download a two-sided flyer letting folks know about the move in English and in Spanish.
