Housing Attorney – Colorado Springs, Pueblo, or La Junta

Colorado Legal Services is seeking an attorney to advise and represent tenants at risk of eviction in southern Colorado. This position is currently funded for one year. This person could work out of the Colorado Springs, Pueblo, or La Junta office; occasional travel within the region is expected. Ideal candidates will have a proven commitment to public interest and experience working with low-income or otherwise vulnerable populations. Colorado law license required, housing law experience, bilingual ability, and tech-savviness preferred. For more information, see our staff attorney job description here. Attorney salary ranges from $53,000 - $92,000 based on experience, with generous insurance benefits, paid vacation time and sick leave, and professional development opportunities.

Housing Intake Attorney – Any Office

Colorado Legal Services’ Coordinated Statewide Intake Unit (CSI) is seeking an attorney to provide advice and brief services (rather than full representation) to clients at risk of eviction. This position is currently funded for one year. For more information, see the job description here. Ideal candidates are team players with experience serving vulnerable populations. Colorado law license and 2+ years of experience with landlord-tenant issues required, Spanish fluency and familiarity with Colorado social services landscape preferred. Attorney salary ranges from $53,000 - $92,000 based on experience, with generous insurance benefits, paid vacation time and sick leave, and professional development opportunities.  

This attorney could work at any CLS office under (remote) supervision from the CSI Managing Attorney in the Denver office.
