If your Medicaid has been denied or terminated, if your Medicaid services have been reduced, or if medical services that your provider requested have been denied, you can contact Colorado Legal Services to see if we can assist you. Colorado Legal Services may also handle other Medicaid issues.
Changes to Medicaid in 2026
H.R. 1. created some changes to Medicaid, including work requirements. Immigration status changes will also affect who can qualify for Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid program).
Health First Colorado will implement H.R. 1’s new work requirements by Jan. 1, 2027.
