Works with volunteer attorneys to provide advice, limited and full representation to low-income clients with civil legal cases.
Not every low-income client can be helped due to limited financial and staff resources.

1 - What is an annulment?
In Colorado, an annulment is called a "Declaration of Invalidity".
When a marriage is annulled, or declared 'invalid', it is as if the marriage never existed. Marriages are declared invalid as of the date of the (attempted) marriage. C.R.S. 14-10-111 (5).
What is domestic violence? The answer may appear straightforward. However, in Colorado domestic violence includes more than just physical abuse between intimate partners. Domestic violence is any act or threatened act of violence upon a person with whom the perpetrator is or has been involved in an intimate relationship.

The Situation
If you're divorced from your child’s other parent and/or a court has entered a custody (APR) order about your child and your circumstances have changed since that time, you may wish to ask the court to modify (change) parenting time for your child. For example, you or the other parent has moved, or the child has been put in a dangerous situation by the other parent.
What is a civil union in Colorado?
In March 2013, Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper signed into law the Colorado Civil Union Act, which legalized civil unions.
What is a Dissolution of Marriage?
Colorado laws use different terms than what you may be familiar with. A "Dissolution of Marriage” (DOM) is the term Colorado law and courts use to mean “divorce”. Similarly, what you may be familiar with as custody is called "Allocation of Parental Responsibility” (APR) under Colorado law.
